Portraits in Emotion, a project that Caiola curated through an artist residency with Oasis arts and education, is an investigation using painting and text into the experiences of 12 adult artists whose lives have been touched by mental illness.
Portrait of a Generation, an exhibition in painting and sound, celebrates the lives of 11 American women of the “silent generation,” born between 1933 and 1943. Dr. Sharon Ravitch and Dr. Kelli McAllister are co-authoring a book about the women and the project. Artist and designer, Jorge Cousineau, edited the audio segments.
